Jet collecting day along the coast

Last week we had a successful jet collecting day along our local beaches. We covered several miles of coastline and found quite a few pieces of good quality jet ...

This piece of jet is flawless and will be used to make some carved hearts for pendants, earrings and charms.

Separating the jet from the coal!

These little pieces will be used to make some small studs and earrings.

This will keep us busy in the workshop for a good while!
