Cognac Amber Cufflinks

Baltic Amber was originally a resin produced by trees in forested regions of the Baltic.

The amber became solidified and was washed downstream by streams and rivers to the Baltic Sea where it is now discovered on the coastlines. Cognac amber is a transparent variety and little inclusions of preserved plants, insects, water or gas bubbles are often seen inside the stones. The clarity and the inclusions give the stone a lovely depth. Amber has been valued in lots of cultures and communities throughout time due to its warm vibrant appearance and special significance. We have selected this type of amber because we love the beautiful contrast between the fiery gem and the silver's cool metallic lustre.
